Challenge
- Ordinate new biotech products in concert with needs and business model. 2
- Coordinate suppliers and OEM/ODM companies for new product development.
- Coordinate electronic product certification (e.g. CE, CB, UL, etc).
- Selects correct design concepts and fundamental technology used for new products or improvements for existing ones.
- Coordinate and line up with overseas parent company strategies.
- Plans and formulates aspects of research and development proposals such as objective or purpose of the project, applications that can be utilized from findings, costs of the project, and equipment and human resource requirements
Qualification
- MSc or PhD in life sciences or bioengineering with focus on cell-related assay.
- Contribute to Cell culture expertise in ongoing product development projects for microbioreactor.
- 2+ years experience in application support, or product development/management.
- Experience with cell-based assays, drug discovery, and/or cell culture preferred.
- Excellent English communication skills to work in interdisciplinary teams.
- Passionate about technology and laboratory automation.
Willingness to travel nationally/internationally if necessary. - Experiences in CE/UL regulation and QC process is a plus.

Challenge
- Identifying customer opportunities, needs, determine technical/biological feasibility of new applications.
- Act as a lead scientist on multiple programs having project oversight independently and direct report management responsibilities.
- Design and execute cell culture assay including processing samples and generating reports and application notes in house or with partners.
- Support new product development by the biological assay validation.
Draft research project in house or with partners. - Ensure the project timeline is met and the project stays within budget.
- Coordinate cross-countries teams between Taiwan and Germany.
Qualification

Challenge
- For the first year you will have the opportunity work in Freiburg, Germany
- Evaluates mechanical and electromechanical systems and products by designing and conducting research programs and applying principles of microfluidic, mechanics, hydraulics, and materials.
- Design or redesign mechanical and electromechanical devices using analysis and computer-aided design plans.
- Generate working prototypes for beta testing and customer demonstration.
- Ensure the project timeline is met and the project stays within budget.
- Coordinate research partners and cross-countries teams between Taiwan and Germany.
- Plan and execute cell culture related experiments for product evaluation.
Qualification
- A minimum of three years in mechanical/microfluidic engineering for scientific laboratory products; candidates with experiences in the biotech market will be advantaged; Interest in biotech industry; Self-motivation for product development.
- Experience using CAD software such as ProE, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar.
